4:00 - 7:00 PM
Broyhill Inn and Conference Center

This year's Expo is being held in conjunction with the Dr. Robert Glennon's presentation at 7:00 pm at the Broyhill Inn. Dr Glennon is the Morris K. Udall Professor of Law and Public Policy at the University of Arizona and author of Water Follies: Groundwater Pumping and the Fate of America's Fresh Water. His presentation will bring attention to the consequences of over-pumping groundwater. He makes a case that the "mining" of aquifers is consuming freshwater in the US far faster than it is being replaced. Glennon cautions "the country cannot sustain even the current levels of groundwater use, never mind the projected increases in groundwater consumption over the next two decades."

The Expo Is Designed To Provide a Public Forum For Organizations Or Businesses Who Care About And Are Doing Something About The Environment, Community Character, Sustainability, Cultural Preservation,
Quality Business Development

Tables Are 8' Long. Set Up Can Begin After 2:00 PM On October 16
