What is it? - An art competition in which the creations consist of at least 50% reused or recycled material.
Time Frame
· ALL IN ONE FUN PACKED DAY - May 6th, 2004 at Boone Mall
How does it work?
· Secure OFFICIAL entry application, only 75 will be issued.
· Create your art project using AT LEAST 50% reused or recycled material.
· Level of competition is noted on application (by age).
· Category of competition is noted on application (donations or keepers).
· Art item is delivered by artist to the Viewing/Judging/Silent Auction/Awards
Event on May 6th.
Goals
· Draw awareness to the litter problem in Watauga County
· Combine clean-up and reuse efforts
· Reward creative participants
· Generate "refurbished" furniture or functional home items
for Watauga County Habitat for Humanity
· Generate funds for the Stop the Litter! campaign

· Watauga County - By raising the awareness of trash and litter in the
